In order for every client to achieve their fitness goals the following formula must be understood and followed.  These requirements are spoken about in the initial consultation as well as throughout the training process.

A. Nutrition- For proper diet to be developed, it starts with our initial meeting with goals.   There are different diet formats based on your individual goals (ex, someone desiring weight loss will eat differently than someone that body builds).   Proper nutrition accounts for over 60% of achieving your goals.
 
B. Cardiovascular Training- Pending fitness level and goals, there are different levels of cardiovascular exercise recommended.   This varies client to client.
 
C. Resistance Training- Resistance or weight training is essential in "Transforming Yourself".   As we age, our body's natural tendency is to lose muscle every year after our mid-20's.
 
D. Sleep- Sleep is essential to promoting Total Wellness.  When you are "stressing" your body with resistance as well as cardiovascular work, your body needs ample rest to recover properly.  Each person/body is different.  Plan your rest accordingly.

• Change is your friend! Try and change at least 1 exercise per body part this month.

• Take a NAP! Yes...naps can be refreshing and give your body and mind a much needed break. There is also the benefit of RECOVERY for your muscles (which could lead to even more gains!)

• Try a new HEALTHY RECIPE! There is a plethora of information both online and in print that assist in establishing a healthier diet. Try something new to add to your meal plans.

• Take the stairs at work...park further away from the store when you go...try a new way of doing cardiovascular work or take a group exercise class...this will keep your body off balance and your routines fresher!
